OK1TGI's teal green blog: Jizerky 2012

In the 32nd calendar week 2012, begin of august, I spend, with my family, holiday in Jizera mountains. I was able to visited and activated couple of summits, some accompanied by my family, some alone.
The base camp was in Desna town, in one of nice cottage which are rented by their owners.

I started from Sous dam on 16:45.

17:20 - trail cross - Saddle below Zamky

The beginning of climb on Zamky was on blue trail, but from saddle below top it's necessary to go without any trail (though some old maps show non-existing yellow trail which goes to the top).

First I tried to use the forest road from topographical saddle but there was very muddy moss and grass and I sank to the ankles. Second approach I tried to go through to the west slope. GPS in my cell phone didn't help me so much, thereore I'm note 100% sure that I reached the exact point, but I'm sure that I was very close.
