I decided to go this morning at 4:00
It is extremely unusual, I did not go alone.
Slavoj, one of the oldest still living members of the climbing club Letohrad, goes with me.
His wife Mary was happy.

beginning of the hike:

train stop Ramzová 7:40z  760m asl (the highest fast train stop in Czecho)

rig: K1, band 40m, output 4W 

antenna: 20m blue wire

There was a little problem with paddle jack.

OL-011:

first CQ: 09:29z

fisrt QSO: 09:32z

last QSO: 09:54z (after pile-up)

number of QSO: 25 on 40m CW

weather on the top:

6°C, clear, windy,  remnants of snow, mud

I slumped through the snow to the deep mud and my left shoe nearly left me there. I  told myself imediately - The king from Šumava (old czech thriller movie where people died in the mud).

Slavoj hasn't had a ham licence yet.
He is PMR and CB user and 145MHz SWL.
But I have to tell that he is studing for OK license exam !!


On OL-013 Slavoj, as an old mountaineer, are climbing into the crown of spruce to hang my antenna wire.
